Hundeflokk LLC offers Interstate, Intrastate, and Local transport services for dogs and cats. We work with rescues, private citizens and businesses in need of ensuring pets reach their destination safely and comfortably.

Interstate services include Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Intrastate services include Wisconsin only- all counties.

Local services include the areas of Eau Claire Co, Dunn Co, Pepin Co, Pierce Co, St Croix Co, Chippewa Co, Trempealeau Co, and Polk Co.

When transporting, we use a large enclose, however, smaller carries are available for smaller pets as needed.

While your dog or cat may be placed in a large enclosure (unless a smaller carrier is requested), we strive for the safety and quality care of all pets being transported. To accomplish this, we use a temperature and humidity monitoring system with automatic alerts between a high temp and low temp alert.

Further, we stop approximately every 4 hours or every 300 miles (which ever occurs soonest) to allow for 20-30 minutes of outside the vehicle time, unless requested otherwise. This time allows for the dog or cat to move around to increase blood flow and prevent clots (deep vein thrombosis).

During this time, dogs and cats will be attached to a harness and leash (no free run) and have the chance to socialize with the transporter (social activities help mental health in pets) as well as use the restroom and engage their seek drive, furthering mental health.

We use anti-spill still water bowls for in the vehicle, a small rest pad, and below enclosure tray with absorbent pads to ensure comfort and cleanliness. Pads are checked and changed at each stop, as needed, and the enclosure is cleaned as needed, daily, and between each transport.

Additional protocols include having certain documents and information on hand for emergencies. We also have a contingency plan made for each stop. If transporting between multiple transporters, we do ensure authorization and signatures between us, the shipper, and any additional transporters.

Our vehicle is also equipped with a pet first aid kit for any unexpected emergencies. Please note we are not medically licensed or healthcare professionals. Our goal is to ensure the best experience for the dog or cat being transported using the least intrusive and minimally aversive methods when caring for any pet.

Pricing is as follows:

Local Transport                           $.90/Mile (20.00 Min)

Intrastate Transport                  $1.00/Mile ($35 Min)

Interstate Transport                  $1.25/Mile ($50 Min)

Payment in full is required upfront.

Checks from businesses, governments, and non-profits are accepted but must be furnished at least 5 days before transport.

Cash can be paid at time of pick-up, and a receipt will be provided.

Cards are also accepted; however, payment should be made 2 days prior to transport to ensure clearing.

Some travel distances may require an overnight stay. In the event of a required overnight stay a kennel should be arranged by the shipper or receiver and authorization provided to Hundeflokk LLC for such custody transfer. Hundeflokk LLC can also make such arrangements, if desired, and will be included as part of the transport agreement.
